How much does it cost to join a group?

The platform charges a one-time service fee of $100 USD per member. This covers our coordination services. Shipping costs are paid directly to the forwarder.

How many vehicles can I import in one container?

A standard container typically fits 4 vehicles, with each member getting one space unit. Some vehicles may require more space units depending on size.

What happens if a group member doesn't pay?

Groups only proceed when all members have confirmed payment. Unpaid slots remain open for new members to join.

Can I choose my freight forwarder?

Currently, we work with pre-verified forwarders to ensure reliability. Contact details are provided once you've paid the service fee.

What countries can I import to?

We serve Namibia, South Africa, Botswana, and Zambia. All shipments come through Walvis Bay Port.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping times vary but typically range from 6-8 weeks from Japan to Walvis Bay. Your forwarder will provide specific timelines.

Can I track my vehicle during shipping?

Yes, the forwarder will provide tracking information and updates throughout the shipping process.

What if I already bought a car and need to join a group?

Contact us at support@contshare.com and we'll help arrange a suitable group for your already-purchased vehicle.

Common Issues & Solutions

Can't join a group?

Make sure you're logged in and the group still has available space. Groups marked as "Full" cannot accept new members.

Payment not showing?

After uploading proof of payment, allow up to 24 hours for admin verification. You'll be notified once confirmed.

Can't see forwarder details?

Forwarder contact information is only visible after your payment has been confirmed by an admin.

Need to change groups?

Contact support if you need to transfer to a different group. Note that paid members cannot leave groups without admin assistance.
